    Boys’ High School and College students excel in ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) 2017 examinations

    The fraternity of Boys’ High School and College is proud of our students who have excelled in the ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) 2017 examination. The Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke and the Academic Supervisor, Mrs. C. B. Luke congratulated the students for their profound success. The noteworthy feature was that our boys in ICSE (X) namely, Mohd. Muzammil with 98 per cent marks topped in Allahabad district. Besides him, Shashwat Sahu with 97.40 per cent marks, Mihir Singh with 97.20 per cent, Ritwik Srivastava and Manan Agarwal with 97 per cent shared the first five positions of merit list in Allahabad district. Moreover, 50 students have secured cent percent marks in Computer Science and more than 90 per cent of our students have secured 99 marks in Computers.

    ‘QUIZZARD’ – Inter-House Quiz Competition (Junior Section)

    Exuberating, motivating, enlightening and engaging would describe the Quiz Competition ‘Quizzard’ of Boys’ High School and College Junior Section which was held on 11th May 2017.

    The Quizzard was aimed at developing the knowledge and excellence base among the young minds through healthy and highly motivating meet. The competition was inaugurated by the Academic Supervisor, Mrs. C. B. Luke. Students of Class 3rd and 4th participated in the competition. It all began with the introduction of all the participants from each house team.

    Mr. Ben Bailey looked cheerful, conducting the quiz for the little ones. Mazes of intuited and interesting questions were asked to the students, testing each aspect of the educational knowledge base like current affairs, sports, science etc...

    Singing Competition titled ‘The Amazing Voice’

    Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don’t understand the language that you’re singing in, they still know good music when they hear it. To promote singing talents in the school, a singing competition titled ‘The Amazing Voice’ was organized for children of class V to VIII. The competition was held in two categories, English Duet and Hindi Solo, in the tastefully decorated Middle School Hall on Tuesday, May 02, 2017.

    The students were eager to participate in the competition. Hence, a large number of students turned out for the
    audition round. The audition was conducted by our music teachers, Mr. S. Nanda and Ms. S. Shepherd. Each one of them gave their best, but finally only 23 were selected to participate in the competition.

    Utkarsh Kant to represent UP in under 19 soccer contest

    A student of the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College here, Utkarsh Kant, has been selected to represent the state of Uttar Pradesh in the under 19 national football competition in Bilaspur.

    Son of Vinod Kant Srivastava, a senior advocate of the Allahabad High Court, the young footballer, Utkarsh, is a very good player in midfield and has represented the school, district and state in various soccer competition.

    Utkarsh is grateful to his coach, Shadab Raza and Derrick yeoward, for teaching him the intricacies of the game. The BHS principal, D A Luke and academic supervisor C B Luke, wished him all success in his future endeavours.
