Annual Prize Day (2017-18)

The Annual Prize Day for the academic year 2017-2018 of Boys’ High School & College annexe Holy Trinity School was held in the New Hall on July 14, 2018. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Rev. Gabriel Daud, Secretary, Allahabad High School Society (AHSS). The chief guest for the occasion Rev G. Daud. The Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke and Academic Supervisor, Mrs. C. B. Luke were present on the occasion.

At the outset, the Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke welcomed the guests and introduced the chief guest to the august gathering. In academics, students from nursery to class 8 were awarded prizes for excellence in various fields. The Yellow House, having scored the maximum points both in academics and sports emerged as the proud winners of the Cock House Trophy.

Headmistress, Mrs. R. Mandal gave away the prizes to the students from nursery to class 2. Prizes to students of class 3 to 5 were given out by Mrs. C. B. Luke, while the Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke gave away the prizes to the students of class 6 to 8. The trophies to the captains and vice-captains were given by the Chief Guest Rev. G. Daud.
A special prize was initiated in the previous year for the “Outstanding Student in the field of Academics for the session 2017-2018 in loving memory of Late Mrs. Namrata Singh who was a teacher in the school for 19 years. The prize was given to Divyansh Praveen by Mr. Balbir Singh, father of Late Mrs. Singh.

In his address, the chief guest, Rev G. Daud congratulated the students for achieving excellence in academics, sports and games. He thanked the parents for being with their children and teaching and guiding them in academics. He also thanked the teachers for imparting quality education to the children and living up to the expectations of the school. He motivated the children and said to continue to work hard in future also and keep the flag flying high up. He congratulated the students for their achievements for the academic session 2017-2018. He thanked the parents for being a teacher to the students when they go home after school, who have guided them and brought them to this standard.

The function interspersed with melodious songs by the school choir. The Headmistress, Mrs. Mandal thanked the AHSS Secretary Rev. Daud and the Principal, Mr. Luke for their continued support and help whenever required to the school. The function came to an end with the National Anthem.
