‘Quizilla’ of class IX and X was held on Thursday i.e the 7th September 2017 in the Middle School Hall. The Academic Supervisor Mrs. C. B. Luke blessed the occasion by being the Guest of Honour. The Competition was won by the Green House represented by Ayush Kumar of IX-B and Abhinav Yadav of X-E. The runner up team was the Blue House represented by Shayantan Bhattacharya of IX-F and Tejas Verma of X-B.

The Inter-House Commerce Quiz organized by the Commerce Club of Boys’ High School and College, was held in the Middle School Hall. Each house namely, St. Andrew’s House (Blue House), St. Patrick’s House (Green House), St. George’s House (Red House), St. Peter‘s House (Yellow House) were represented by their respective teams comprising three members.
The College Section Incharge, Mr. L.A.M. French welcomed the participants and wished them good luck for their success. He said that such competitions go a long way in nurturing the talents of the students.

Hindi elocution competition for Boys’ High School and College was held on the 29th August, 2017. Participants from class V –VIII took part in the competition keeping in mind the several factors which are adjudged during a competition, the children focused on the various aspects like voice quality, speech content and delivery standard.
Poems from famous poets were chosen by the participants. To name a few ‘Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan’ and ‘Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’ were the poets whose works were learnt and well recited.
The students showed enthusiasm in reciting the poems and spoke eloquently with finesse. It certainly was an enjoyable experience for all those who participated. Poem like ‘Meri Maa’ recited by a class V student touched everybody’s heart.
