Christmas Carnival 2018


Christmas fervour was witnessed all across the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College campus at the “Christmas Carnival” held on the lush green field of the school on Friday. The sprawling field and the stalls wore a festive look with Christmas colours all over it. The BHS Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke inaugurated the Christmas Carnival by cutting the ribbon.

It was a fun-filled day for the children from Nursery to Class 12 and their parents, family members and well-wishers. There was something for everyone and it was a very fulfilling Christmas celebration for all.
An array of nearly sixty stalls of different kinds from mouth watering delicacies to cold drinks, coffee to games installs and rides attracted the crowd.The youngsters made merry at the various game stalls, namely, Football Mania, Net the Ball, Burning the Candles, Kangaroo Goodies, Tailing the Elephant, Hoopla, Coconut Shy, Fishing the Bottle, Feed the Joker, Shooting the Balloons and many other such game stalls. The food stalls included Chat, Chowmein, Kebabs, Momos, Spring Roll, Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Cutlets, Chicken, Biryani, Bhelpuri, Churmura, Pasta, Cakes and many beverages such as Mock tail, Ice Cream, Cold drinks, Candy Floss, Coffee, Mineral Water, etc.

Apart from gaming and food stalls there were also some wonderful rides available which became popular especially in the students of about 10 to 18 years. The star attractions of the day were Russian Wheel, Land and Water Zorbing, PUB-G and Instant Photo Shoot. As anticipated these stalls were visited by the highest number of children during the fete. An interactive Lucky draw was also taken out and the winners were given Motorbike, Playstation-4, Laptop, Bicycle and Hamper Baskets.

The students thanked the Principal for organizing such a wonderful fete in the school and requested him to organize it again the next year.
