In a remarkable display of talent and determination, 5 Boys’ High School and College footballers have been selected to the Sports and Games Federation of India (SGFI). The students have excelled at the National Football Tournament, earning accolades, and setting the stage for future success. We are thrilled to congratulate the Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand Under-14 team for becoming Champions at the CISCE National Football Tournament held in Kerala defeating teams from other states and UAE. The exceptional performances of Shubham Yadav, Divyanshu Banaudha, Sitanshu Sonkar, and Mohammad Hammad earned them well-deserved spots in the upcoming SGFI games.
A special mention goes to Divyanshu Banaudha for his leadership as captain of the Under-14 UP and UK team, and to Shubham Yadav for his remarkable skills as a goalkeeper, both of whom made a significant impact on the team’s success. Additionally, it is commendable that Sani Sharma has been selected to represent the CISCE board in the Under-19 category at the SGFI level, demonstrating his consistent excellence on the field.
We are also proud to announce that Fernando Preston of Boys’ High School and College has been selected as the coach for the CISCE Under-14 Nationals team, which will be participating in the SGFI Games to be held in Maharashtra.
The unwavering support from the school’s principal, academic supervisor, event manager, teachers and coaches has been instrumental in these outstanding achievements.
