General knowledge has been defined in differential psychology as “culturally valued knowledge communicated by a range of non-specialist media” and encompassing a wide subject range. General knowledge is an important component of crystallized intelligence and is strongly associated with general intelligence and with openness of experience.
The students of Boys’ High School (BHS) and College have proved their mettle and class in the ICSE (10) and ISC (12) examination of 2015 and kept the flag of the School flying high. The examination was conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The high quality of education imparted at the school under the stewardship of the Principal, D. A. Luke is reflected in the ICSE (10) and ISC (12) results.
In a colourful ceremony, the students of ISC (12) 2014-15 batchwere given a grand farewell at a function held in the tastefully decorated Middle School Hall. The atmosphere inside the hall was somber and gave a heavenly appearance.
Exhilaration and excitement can hardly be fathomed as smiles galore brightened the faces of nearly 250 children as they were awarded prizes for excellence in academics and non-academic spheres at the Annual Prize Day function held in the tastefully decorated Middle School Hall here. But, finally it was the Blue House which stole a march on all them by walking away with the prestigious Cock House Shield. Rev. G. Daud, Secretary of the Allahabad High School Society (AHSS) graced the occasion as chief guest.
