Braving the incessant rain, the staff and students of Boys’ High School (BHS) and College came out in full force to celebrate the 66thRepublic Day and to pay homage to the founding fathers of the Constitution of India. The entire school was artistically adorned with tricolour flags. The chief guest on this occasion was an ex-student of our school, Prof. A. K. Singhal of the Department of Commerce and Business Administration, University of Allahabad.
Indeed it is a matter of great joy to celebrate the birth of Lord Jesus Christ who came into this world to impart the message of love and sacrifice to that peace reigns supreme. The spirit of Christmas festivity and divinity was brought alive at “The Yuletide Razzmatazz”, a combined Christmas programme, organized by the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College in the tastefully decorated Middle School on Friday.
Boys’ High School swimmers, trained by Mr. K. C. Biswas, excelled at the 18th ASISC National Swimming Championship held at Bengaluru. The swimmers showed their mettle and class and came out with flying colours.
The first day of December, 2014 was a very special day as scores of teachers and thousands of students celebrated Principal’s Day. It was carnival like atmosphere and the BHS family left no stone unturned in showering their gratitude on their much loved Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke.
The Junior School Annual Prize Day function was celebrated with much fanfare along with a colourful concert, Razzamatazz on Saturday. The Middle School Hall brimmed with enthusiastic and proud parents wanting to catch a glimpse of their loved ones. The chief guest on the occasion was Rev. G. Daud, Secretary of Allahabad High School Society while Rev. D. Subhan, Moderator's Commissary, Diocese of Lucknow, CNI was the guest of honour. Also present on the occasion was Rev. Rajesh Joseph, Secretary, Diocese of Lucknow, Church of North India.
