The Boys’ High School and College was bursting with creativity as more than 60 young storytellers from Saint Patrick’s House, Saint Andrew’s House, Saint Peter’s House and Saint George’s House participated in the Creative Writing Competition held on May 6th, 2024. They had 35 minutes to craft their stories inspired by a given picture and their enthusiasm for literature was palpable as they unleashed their imaginations.
The theme, ‘Picture Based Story Writing,’ allowed participants to set out on diverse literary forays from whimsical fantasies to heartfelt reflections. Each story showcased the boundless imagination and talent of our budding writers.
The participants poured their hearts onto the pages, transporting readers to distant lands, stirring emotions and eliciting laughter, painting a vivid picture of the rich tapestry of young minds at work.Judging was based on criteria such as originality, creativity, impactand presentation, ensuring that the most deserving storytellers were duly honoured.
