Investiture Ceremony 2025-26

“Leaders are not born, they are trained and made at schools and universities. Great leadership is about the spaces one creates for understanding and growth.”, The Boys’ High School and College and its annexe Holy Trinity School organized an Investiture Ceremony on Wednesday. The Chief Guest was Mr. Harshvardhan Bajpai, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), City North Assembly Constituency.

            In his nostalgic speech Mr. Bajpai remembered his days as college captain of SJC, and how such institution, like and BHS and his alma-mater have nurtured leaders for tomorrow. He enlightened the students about the transition of Allahabad from a city caught in identity crisis to one today as Prayagraj with massive infrastructural change. He attributed this transition to quality education provided by schools like BHS.

He praised the school for providing quality education and turning out responsible leaders of tomorrow. He mentioned few examples to motivate the students and informing them that how far we have come in terms of advancement and development in all areas.

            In the end he thanked the Principal and the Academic Supervisor for enriching the legacy of such great institution.

The ceremony is of great importance as it confers ceremonial ranks to the students and vests in them the trust and responsibilities to carry out their duties to the best of their capabilities with honesty. In this way the Boys’ High School and College provides formal training and real-world experience with significant learning happenings both inside and outside the classroom and inculcates in the students’ qualities of leadership.

The Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke and the Academic Supervisor, Mrs. C. B. Luke welcomed the Chief Guest. Mrs. Luke presented the Chief Guest with a bouquet. The Principal honoured him with memento. The Bible Reading was done by Joash Samuel David of Class XI E and the opening prayer by Mrs. V. Frank. The College Captain, Shreyansh Vinay took oath on behalf of the office-bearers and promised to discharge their duties with sincerity and integrity. The College Section Incharge Dr. (Mrs.) A. R. Mukophadhyaya conducted the programme. The function came to an end with a vote of thanks followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
