The Annual Hindi Elocution Competition of Boys’ High School and College for classes IX to XII was held in Middle School Hall on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
The participants were judged in matter, diction, memory, pronunciation and overall impression. In all, 35 participants from class IX to XII took part in the competition to prove their merit. Of them, while 16 participants were from class IX and X, 19 represented the College Section comprising class XI and XII. Those who took part in the competition from class IX were Harsh Vardhan Singh, Saif Ali, Ashutosh Singh, Aryansh Gupta, Ishaaq Ahmed, Adeeb Ali, Raghav Arora and Ashish Chauhan. Participants from class X were Sarvagya Chitranshi, Raunak Seth, Manam Dev Singh, Sahil Kumar, Aquib Jamal, Jeevesh Dubey, Abhinandan Verma, and Saamarth Mishra. In the College Section, students from class XI were Yash Pandey, Manas Bhadauria, Pratyush Mishra, Ashutosh Chopra, Suryansh Srivastava, Joshua Lawrence, Sanchit Upadhyaya, Sanskar Jaiswal, Harsh Gaur, Ayush Shukla and Snehil Tiwari, while those from class XII were Abdul Karim, Parimal Agarwal, Devesh Kumar Vinod, Prateek Kumar Singh, Shashwat Gopesh, Raghav Bajaj, Rishabh Narain Singh and Sahil Jaiswal.
Speeches were delivered effectively on the topics Kashmir me Sangharsh Viram, mahilayen purusho se heen nahi, Mann ke hare haar hai Mann ke Jeete Jeet, Sanskrit Ek Vaigyanik Bhasha, Ye Asamanta Kyun, Bharat ki Ekta, Swachchta, Ye Kahan aa gaye Hum, Nirasha ke Taane Baane, etc.
The competition was inaugurated by the BHS Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke. The judges for the event for the Middle School comprising class IX and X were Mr. S. Chintamani, Mrs. U. Tripathi and Mrs. M. Malviya, while the judges for the College Section consisting of class XI and XII were Mr. B. N. Tiwari, Mrs. V. David and Mrs. K. Agarwal.
